Online PC Basic Computer Skills Tutor

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic tutors to teach basic computer skills to learners of all ages through our Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform. You will deliver one‑on‑one online sessions, helping students become confident using Windows PCs for personal and professional tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct live, interactive tutoring sessions covering Windows navigation, file management, web browsing, email setup, and basic Microsoft Office use.
• Guide students through printer configuration, system updates, and basic security settings.
• Adapt lessons to each learner’s pace, using visual guides and step‑by‑step walkthroughs.
• Track student progress and provide feedback to foster independence and troubleshooting confidence.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system and common desktop applications.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly to beginners, including adult learners and seniors.
• Friendly, engaging communication style with a focus on building student confidence.
