Multi-Site Service Technician - Vancouver

About the role

The Multi-Site Service Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Greystar’s residential properties in Vancouver meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This onsite role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Experience in building or property maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, perform inspections, and follow established procedures.
• Good organizational skills for inventory management and vendor coordination.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders, and operating cleaning equipment.
