Mechanical Project Manager

About the role

As a Mechanical Project Manager in Sense Engineering’s Vancouver team, you will lead mechanical‑focused projects, providing innovative solutions for building restoration and energy improvement challenges while guiding junior staff and coordinating with clients, contractors and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing mechanical construction documents and equipment specifications.
• Conduct site evaluations and mechanical assessments.
• Complete warranty reviews, depreciation reports and building condition assessments.
• Contribute to mechanical report writing and support project coordination.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants to ensure seamless communication.
• Represent Sense at client meetings and networking functions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience inspecting and designing building mechanical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Registered or actively pursuing registration with EGBC.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and client‑centric mindset.
• Team player eager to learn and contribute in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
