Mechanical Engineer – Manufacturing & Green Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead research, design, and implementation of mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment focused on green initiatives. The role involves delivering innovative solutions for power plants, machines, and equipment while supporting Canada’s net‑zero targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and performance analysis of mechanisms, components, and systems.
• Design power plants, machines, and related equipment using CAD tools.
• Supervise installation, inspect mechanical systems, and investigate failures or unexpected maintenance issues.
• Plan and manage projects, preparing cost estimates, schedules, and design specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on hydraulics, fluid systems, system integration, and robotics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or processing industries.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
