About the role

We are seeking an experienced academic to teach a graduate‑level course covering non‑publicly traded asset classes such as private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure and private debt. The instructor will guide students through the full life‑cycle of a private market investment, including legal structures, valuation methods, value‑added techniques and transaction processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures, seminars and case studies on private market investments.
• Develop course materials, assignments and assessment tools aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current with industry developments and integrate real‑world examples into teaching.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., finance, economics, business).
• Professional experience in private markets or active board membership within the last five years.
• Demonstrated involvement in professional associations, policy‑making bodies or similar organizations.
• Prior university teaching experience is an asset.
