Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager reports to the Plant Manager and leads all maintenance activities at the North York bottling plant. This role ensures that equipment and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively to support high‑quality beverage production.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, control, and coordinate daily maintenance services for the plant.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and procedures.
• Supervise, develop, and mentor maintenance staff, including unionized employees.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety standards.
• Develop and manage the department’s annual budget and capital projects.
• Oversee parts acquisition and ensure timely completion of service calls and machine repairs.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide maintenance support as needed.
• Stay informed on technical advances and support mechanics with specialized expertise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in maintenance management within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership and staff development abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and unionized workforces.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
