IT Support Specialist

About the role

Everest Clinical Research is seeking an IT Support Specialist to ensure smooth daily operations for its employees. You will be responsible for resolving technical issues, managing hardware and software assets, and maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve technical support tickets submitted via the ServiceNow Helpdesk portal in a timely manner.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops for staff.
• Administer Windows, Unix, and sFTP user accounts and permissions.
• Perform patch management to apply critical security updates, system patches, and service packs.
• Conduct periodic log and backup reviews.
• Manage IT asset inventory and ensure accurate records.
• Maintain office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and photocopiers.
• Develop and update installation and procedural documentation for the IT department.
• Research and implement improvements to Everest’s IT standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on IT support experience.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with clinical trial environments, cloud infrastructure, or VMware is a plus.
