IT Support Co‑Op – Hands‑On Experience

About the role

Govan Brown is looking for an IT Support Co‑Op to join its team for a 12‑week term. This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate who wants practical experience supporting IT operations in a construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure desks, computers, and technology equipment for new hires.
• Coordinate collection and processing of equipment for off‑boarded employees.
• Maintain accurate IT inventory and asset tracking.
• Support the IT team with day‑to‑day operations and project‑based initiatives.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and provide timely support to employees.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a post‑secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Highly detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable working with computers and technology, eager to learn new systems and tools.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
