IT Business Analyst – Junior (L1) – Burnaby

About the role

Our client is seeking a junior‑level IT Business Analyst to support small‑ to medium‑sized technology projects in Burnaby. The role focuses on gathering requirements, preparing documentation, assisting with testing, and coordinating with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams. The position is onsite and runs from June to December 2026 on a fixed‑term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business and system requirements.
• Create process maps, use cases, and traceability matrices to ensure clear project scope.
• Support testing, data migration, and system integration activities.
• Assist with stakeholder communication, meeting minutes, and rollout activities.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Change Management teams to align deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong documentation and requirements‑gathering abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in project coordination.
