Internal Recruiter & HR Specialist – Wealth Management

About the role

We are launching a new Toronto office for Diligence Wealth Management and need an Internal Recruiter & HR Specialist to build our Investment Advisor pipeline and support staff. The role focuses on headhunting high‑performing candidates for wealth‑management advisor positions and ensuring smooth HR operations for the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source, headhunt and screen recent graduates and early‑career professionals with strong sales drive for advisor roles.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from LinkedIn and job‑board outreach to preliminary interviews and scheduling final rounds with senior leadership.
• Lead hiring for support positions such as office administrators, marketing assistants and other operational staff as the office expands.
• Act as a culture guard, filtering candidates who lack resilience for a high‑performance environment.
• Support onboarding and handle day‑to‑day HR administrative tasks for the Toronto branch.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruiting, talent acquisition or agency headhunting, preferably in sales, financial services or commission‑based roles.
• Strong judgment of character with ability to identify resilience, drive and coachability.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills.
