Intermediate Infrastructure Engineer – Edmonton

About the role

This position supports and maintains diverse IT environments for multiple clients in Edmonton. It offers hands‑on experience with servers, networks, identity systems and cloud platforms while handling escalated support and client‑facing tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and support workstations, servers (physical and virtual), peripherals and related hardware across client sites.
• Work with networking components such as switches, firewalls and power systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and infrastructure issues.
• Handle Tier 2 service‑desk escalations and monitor systems for alerts and incidents.
• Maintain accurate documentation, time tracking and follow internal processes.
• Communicate technical information clearly to client stakeholders at all levels.

Required profile

• Completion of a post‑secondary program in Information Technology or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication with a client‑service mindset.
