Data Scientist (Masters) – AI Data Trainer (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are looking for graduate‑level data scientists to help shape the reasoning of the world’s most advanced AI systems. In this fully remote, flexible contract position you will design challenging data‑science problems, create ground‑truth solutions, and audit AI‑generated code to improve model reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design complex challenges covering hyper‑parameter optimization, Bayesian inference, cross‑validation, dimensionality reduction and related techniques.
• Author rigorous step‑by‑step solutions using Python or R scripts, SQL queries and mathematical derivations.
• Audit AI‑generated code for correctness, efficiency and technical soundness with libraries such as Scikit‑Learn, PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Identify logical failures in AI reasoning (e.g., data leakage, over‑fitting, imbalanced data handling) and provide structured feedback.
• Document failure modes of advanced language models on data‑science tasks to support research teams.

Required profile

• Pursuing or holding a Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a quantitative discipline.
• Deep fluency in supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, statistical inference and big‑data technologies.
• Exceptional attention to detail in code syntax, mathematical notation and statistical conclusions.
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously without direct supervision.
