About the role
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to grow our business in the Edmonton, Alberta area. The role focuses on developing new accounts, supporting existing customers, and driving sales of performance plastics.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect, network, cold‑call and obtain referrals to develop new accounts.
- Provide sales support to existing accounts and secure new orders.
- Expand the customer base and communicate order status and customer concerns to the sales team and management daily.
- Maintain and enhance product and technical knowledge in the plastics industry.
- Follow up on leads, application opportunities and conduct proactive outgoing sales calls.
- Contribute to the overall effort of the branch.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets, or a two‑ or four‑year college/university degree.
- A combination of comparable education and sales experience is acceptable.
- Inside‑sales experience in plastics, industrial or distribution sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills, outstanding customer focus, positive attitude and a team‑player mindset.
