Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established real‑estate and investment firm to find an HR Generalist for their Mississauga office. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support multiple business units across Canada, acting as a trusted advisor on employee relations, recruitment and strategic HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide counsel to leaders on employee relations, performance management and organizational matters.
• Manage full‑cycle recruitment and collaborate on talent acquisition strategies.
• Guide leaders on promotions, job design and workforce planning.
• Lead performance management and succession planning processes.
• Partner with HR and business teams on new business integrations and acquisitions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and HR best practices.
• Maintain strong relationships with business units and leadership.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of progressive HR experience (generalist or HRBP).
• Strong background in employee relations, recruitment and stakeholder management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Experience supporting multiple teams or business units; real‑estate exposure is a plus.
• Excellent communication, professionalism and composure in complex situations.

What we offer

• Competitive salary $85,000–$90,000 CAD plus performance bonus.
• Hybrid work model – 4 days onsite (Mon‑Thu) and Fridays remote.
• Standard hours 9:00 AM‑5:00 PM.
