Housekeeping Attendant – Hotel & Resort

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in a rural hotel, motel, or resort setting. You will ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well‑stocked, contributing to a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors; dust furniture and vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies and upholstered pieces.
• Make beds, change sheets, and replenish towels and toiletries.
• Stock linen closets and manage inventory of clean linens.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Attend to guest requests for extra supplies and provide basic facility information.
• Collect debris, empty trash containers, and handle waste disposal.
• Launder clothing and household linens; perform light housekeeping duties.
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings; operate dishwashers for dishes, glassware and flatware.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, pressure‑filled environment.
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks, heavy lifting (up to 13.5 kg), bending, crouching, kneeling and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, reliability and a client‑focused attitude.
• Team player with good judgment, organization and honesty.
