About the role
This full‑time position provides in‑home child care for a family in Calgary. You will be responsible for the children’s daily routine, safety, and overall well‑being while supporting household tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are away, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
- Travel with the family on trips, supervising children and assisting with housekeeping duties.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, following parents’ discipline methods.
- Teach personal hygiene, social development, and organize games and outings.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and handle school pick‑up, appointments, and homework assistance.
- Maintain a safe and healthy home environment at all times.
Required profile
- Client‑focused with excellent oral communication.
- Flexible, organized, and reliable with strong time‑management skills.
- Patient, honest, and capable of sound judgement.
- Willingness to learn on the job; no prior experience required.
