Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

This full‑time position provides in‑home child care for a family in Calgary. You will be responsible for the children’s daily routine, safety, and overall well‑being while supporting household tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are away, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
  • Travel with the family on trips, supervising children and assisting with housekeeping duties.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, following parents’ discipline methods.
  • Teach personal hygiene, social development, and organize games and outings.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and handle school pick‑up, appointments, and homework assistance.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy home environment at all times.

Required profile

  • Client‑focused with excellent oral communication.
  • Flexible, organized, and reliable with strong time‑management skills.
  • Patient, honest, and capable of sound judgement.
  • Willingness to learn on the job; no prior experience required.
