Help Desk Technician – Edmonton & Markham (2 positions)

About the role

We are looking for two motivated Help Desk Technicians to join our growing IT support team, one based in St. Albert, AB and the other in Markham, ON. The role is hands‑on, providing first‑ and second‑level support to end users across multiple sites, ensuring employees have reliable technology to perform their jobs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level and second‑level technical support to end users via phone, email, and in‑person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues, including printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Support Windows 10 and 11 environments and Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and groups in Active Directory.
• Assist with workstation imaging, deployment, and maintenance.
• Support VPN connectivity, remote access tools, and network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing).
• Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system and prioritize support requests.
• Travel to local sites as needed to provide onsite troubleshooting and support technology rollouts.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Help Desk, IT Support, Desktop Support, or Technical Support role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for occasional travel.
