About the role
B&B Contracting Group is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join its growing team in Surrey. The role involves operating a variety of heavy machinery on underground utility, civil construction, and landscaping projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a daily pre‑inspection of equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance such as greasing.
- Exercise good judgment in load handling, equipment placement and material movement.
- Interpret and use hand signals to communicate with crew members.
- Promote a safe work environment and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in underground utility construction, civil construction, or landscaping.
- Ability to read underground utility locates.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
