About the role
You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils. You will ensure that the kitchen, work areas, and equipment are maintained in an orderly and sanitary condition.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils according to procedures.
- Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth.
- Maintain the dish and kitchen area, ensuring equipment is clean, functional and meets safety standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash, steam clean or hose out garbage cans, and assist with loading and unloading supplies.
Required profile
- Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
Required skills
- Industrial washing machine operation.
- Dishwashing.
