Full-Time Store Associate

About the role

We are looking for friendly, motivated people who enjoy helping customers and being part of a team at Giant Tiger.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service at the checkout and throughout the store.
• Accurately record transactions using electronic cash registers, mainline and self‑checkout stations.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area and maintain planograms, labels and signage.
• Handle hot‑selling items, markdowns and SKU changes as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and ensure compliance with tobacco and lottery sales policies.
• Follow health, safety and loss‑prevention procedures, keeping the work area clean and organized.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 18 kg and perform repetitive tasks.
