About the role
The Front Desk Agent will be the first point of contact for guests at Revival English Bay, delivering courteous and professional service throughout check‑in, stay, and check‑out. You will ensure accurate reservations, handle payments, and provide local information to create a memorable guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests, register them in the reservation system, and verify credit information.
- Promote the preferred‑guest program and apply member benefits.
- Process payments, maintain a house bank, and produce daily cash reports.
- Handle currency exchange, issue safety‑deposit‑box keys, and post miscellaneous charges.
- Answer telephone and in‑person inquiries, manage wake‑up calls, messages, mail, and faxes.
- Assist guests with luggage, laundry, and local area information.
- Resolve guest complaints diplomatically and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Support other departments during emergencies and follow all standard operating procedures.
