Foot Care Nurse (RN/RPN)

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Foot Care Nurses (RN/RPN) to provide specialized nursing care for patients with foot‑related health issues across clinics, retirement homes, long‑term care facilities and private residences in Toronto.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive foot assessments, identify risk factors and develop individualized care plans based on evidence‑based practice.
• Provide preventive and therapeutic care including skin management, nail trimming, callus reduction, ulcer and wound treatment.
• Implement pressure‑relief and off‑loading strategies for high‑risk patients.
• Educate patients on daily foot hygiene, proper footwear and self‑care techniques.
• Follow strict infection‑control protocols and manage high‑risk populations safely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date patient records.

Required profile

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care certificate (required).
• Prior foot‑care experience is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid G driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to manage time, work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn proprietary software; Microsoft Word preferred.
• Fluency in a second language is an asset.
