Medical Editor – Contract (6‑Month)

About the role

The Medical Editor will ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, and regulatory compliance across a range of healthcare communications. Working on a 6‑month contract, you will support both professional and patient‑facing materials, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality content.

Key responsibilities

• Edit, proofread, and fact‑check medical and patient‑facing content for accuracy and readability.
• Verify claims, data, and citations using primary literature, guidelines, and client‑approved reference packages.
• Ensure regulatory guidelines are adhered to throughout the development of marketing assets.
• Partner with Medical Strategy, Creative, Project Management, and Client Services to support review cycles.
• Prepare submission‑ready materials, including annotated references, change logs, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain version control and editorial standards such as style guides, terminology lists, and citation conventions.

Required profile

• University degree in life sciences; advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MSc) preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in medical or scientific editing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
