Food Service Team Member – Sushi Chef

About the role

Join Bento’s fast‑growing restaurant network as a Food Service Team Member specializing in sushi. You will work in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment preparing a variety of Japanese‑style dishes while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up workstations and ingredients for daily service.
• Prepare and measure ingredients for sushi, salads, rice bowls and other menu items.
• Answer customer questions, provide recommendations, and ensure a friendly service experience.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation in line with nutrition and safety guidelines.
• Assist with any additional tasks required for smooth restaurant operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the food service industry; sushi preparation is a strong asset.
• Ability to lift up to 15 kg (33 lb) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
