Financial Controller

About the role

This position is for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment. You will lead financial reporting, consolidation and job‑cost accounting across multiple entities in a project‑based, construction‑focused organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Produce work‑in‑progress (WIP) schedules, job‑cost reports and margin analysis.
• Support acquisition due diligence, integration activities and purchase accounting.
• Lead and develop the accounting team through training, mentorship and succession planning.
• Strengthen internal controls across accounting, payroll, procurement and project operations.
• Drive ERP and process‑improvement initiatives to enable scalability.
• Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, capital allocation and business expansion.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in construction or multi‑entity environments.
• Proven experience leading accounting teams and developing staff.
• Strong background in financial reporting, consolidation and job‑cost accounting.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations or multi‑entity organizations.
• Deep understanding of internal controls, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
