Field Construction Manager - Outside Plant Focus

About the role

Join BC Network Operations (NEO) as a Field Construction Manager focused on outside plant infrastructure. You will lead contractor performance, ensure network standards, and drive cost‑effective delivery of capital construction projects across the Lower Mainland.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee partner builds, evaluate installation quality, and enforce network standards.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, and support teams to remove roadblocks.
• Manage vendor relationships, conduct performance evaluations, and develop scorecards.
• Design and implement best‑in‑class processes, tools, and KPI reporting systems.
• Lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
• Travel within British Columbia as needed, primarily working onsite in the Lower Mainland.

Required profile

• 3+ years hands‑on experience installing and troubleshooting telecom equipment (outside plant, inside plant, wireless).
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications standards for physical infrastructure (TOPPS).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects end‑to‑end and work independently.
• Data‑driven mindset to prioritize, develop transformational programs, and influence KPI performance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
