Family Practitioner / General Practitioner (Locum)

About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to provide locum coverage at our newly renovated clinic in New Westminster, BC. The position offers flexible office hours, including optional evenings and Saturdays, and the ability to work from home or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient population.
• Conduct in‑person and virtual visits using our integrated Oscar EMR and online booking platform.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and clinical counsellors.
• Participate in mentorship and peer‑support activities within the practice.
• Utilize the clinic’s specialized equipment, including a power exam table for geriatric patients.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Family Medicine physician licensed to practice in British Columbia.
• Willingness to provide locum coverage on a flexible schedule.
• Comfort with both onsite and remote work environments.
• Commitment to patient‑centered, team‑based care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oscar EMR.
• Experience using telemedicine/virtual visit platforms.
