About the role
The Executive Assistant provides senior‑level support to the Provost and Vice‑President Academic, Vancouver Campus. The role oversees the Provost’s calendar, strategic commitments, and the efficient administration of the Office of the Provost and Vice‑President Academic.
Key responsibilities
- Strategically manage the Provost’s calendar, assess meeting requests, and coordinate commitments.
- Oversee searches, reappointments, and strategic hires for senior leadership positions.
- Lead and supervise the administrative support team, ensuring confidential matters are handled appropriately.
- Liaise with the Office of the President, Deans, other Vice‑President offices, the Board of Governors, and external stakeholders.
- Drive projects that improve the organization and efficiency of the Provost’s office.
Required profile
- Proven experience providing executive assistance to senior leaders, preferably in a university or large‑scale organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage highly confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Capacity to build effective working relationships across multiple campuses and units.
