Electrical Project Manager

About the role

The Electrical Project Manager will lead diverse electrical projects from conception through completion, ensuring they meet budget, schedule, and quality standards. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and a deep understanding of electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, adhering to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Review design drawings, specifications, and contracts for compliance and accuracy.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, track costs, and prepare financial reports.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and oversee project progress.
• Coach teams, optimize workflows, and improve overall project performance.
• Apply procurement knowledge to support project success.
• Draft code‑compliant electrical layouts for field implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of field experience, including at least 2 years as a foreman.
• 2+ years experience as a project manager in electrical contracting.
• Proven ability to execute electrical estimates and manage change orders.
• Demonstrated on‑site experience handling dynamic construction challenges.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in English and an electrical trade certificate or degree/diploma.
