Distribution Center Loss Prevention Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Loss Prevention Coordinator for our Brampton distribution centre. The role focuses on protecting assets, reducing shrink, and ensuring safety standards across warehouse operations while collaborating with operations and loss‑prevention leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks to Security Officers and Loss Prevention Associates and support team development through training.
• Serve as liaison between DC Operations, corporate offices, stores, supply‑chain and field loss‑prevention teams to promote programs and resolve shipping issues.
• Perform operational and LPA audits, track monthly shrink‑committee goals and review compliance reports.
• Deliver training sessions for the loss‑prevention department and orient new warehouse associates.
• Coordinate emergency response, enforce fire‑safety regulations, support internal investigations and escalate critical matters to management.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in loss prevention, security, or related roles within a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of audit processes, asset‑protection standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Ability to lead, train and motivate a team of security personnel.
