Director – Sales & Operations

About the role

The Director will use deep sector knowledge to lead large‑scale sales and operations activities for Desjardins Group, overseeing a major support sub‑function that provides specialized services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Vice‑President in defining strategic priorities.
• Develop and deliver the administrative department’s business plan aligned with strategic issues and targeted results.
• Establish management and communication practices that support change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, employee engagement, and diversity.
• Define and implement service‑related activities and ensure projects are executed to maximize business results and client satisfaction.
• Manage individual and team performance to support the business plan.
• Continuously improve processes under your responsibility.
• Promote Desjardins Group’s cooperative values and represent the organization in business intelligence activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of ten years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in French and expert proficiency in English.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to develop talent, drive results, and build networks.
• Commitment to Desjardins values, equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Knowledge of trade union matters if applicable.
