DevOps Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Specialist to join our hybrid team in Toronto. The role focuses on Azure‑based cloud services, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and automation of complex application deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Support Azure release deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions and Git.
• Design, implement and operate resilient high‑availability architectures (active/active, blue/green).
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible and Python scripts.
• Integrate observability tools such as Dynatrace or Datadog for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Automate Angular and Java build workflows within CI/CD pipelines.
• Accelerate AI‑related development processes through pipeline enhancements.
• Participate in daily meetings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in development, SRE or DevOps roles.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on DevOps experience, preferably in a banking or fintech environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.

• Scripting: Python, Bash
• Observability: Dynatrace, Datadog

• Experience with AI‑driven development pipelines

What we offer

• 4‑month contract with possibility of extension based on performance.
• Hybrid work model – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote.
• Hourly rate between $90 and $100 USD.
