Dealership Accounting Software Trainer

About the role

PBS Systems is seeking an Accounting Software Trainer to deliver both virtual and onsite training for its Dealer Management System (DMS). Based in Calgary, the role splits time between the office and travel to dealerships across Canada, the United States and the Caribbean, ensuring new users adopt the platform smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep expertise in PBS software, especially the accounting module.
• Conduct training sessions for new and existing customers via phone, online platforms, and onsite visits.
• Assist with software installations and act as a reliable resource during deployment.
• Navigate and explain DMS features to provide exceptional customer support.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships by identifying needs and exceeding expectations.
• Enter and update data accurately in company systems.
• Maintain and update training documentation as processes evolve.
• Document tickets, investigate issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Prioritize tasks independently and respond promptly to training requests.
• Share knowledge across silos and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel up to two weeks per month across Canada, the US and the Caribbean.
