About the role

We are seeking a passionate Dance Instructor to join Dasmesh School Winnipeg Inc. The position is based in a school environment where you will prepare students for auditions and performances, teach various dance techniques, and ensure artistic interpretation is emphasized.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare dance students for auditions and performances, ensuring they meet the required standards.
• Teach dance techniques and artistic interpretation, fostering creativity and expression.
• Practice and rehearse dance routines regularly to build confidence and precision.
• Train students to maintain high levels of technical proficiency through ongoing coaching.
• Participate in 1‑4 stage performances per season, supporting the school's artistic showcase.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• Prior experience in dance instruction is considered an asset.
• A criminal record check must be completed prior to employment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handling pressure and tight deadlines.
• Availability for early morning, morning, or evening shifts as needed.
