Corporate Controller – Clean Tech Manufacturing

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing clean‑technology company that converts waste into industrial products, is looking for a Corporate Controller to build and lead the finance function as the business scales its public‑company operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present IFRS‑compliant financial statements and ensure timely public‑company reporting.
• Partner with operations on inventory management, costing, and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop and deliver monthly project and operational reports to support strategic decisions.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable to guarantee accurate processing.
• Coordinate external audits, quarterly reviews and annual audit completion.
• Lead the annual budgeting cycle and produce monthly forecasts for senior leadership.
• Design and implement financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Participate in the selection and rollout of an ERP system.

Required profile

• CPA designation preferred with prior experience in a public accounting firm.
• Minimum 10 years of post‑designation experience, ideally in an operational public company.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting from a recognized Canadian institution.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing sector and with funding structures that include debt and equity.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and collaborative leadership abilities.
