About the role
Join Dog House Restaurant as a Cook, preparing and delivering high‑quality Canadian dishes in a busy kitchen environment. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking and handling.
- Order supplies and equipment and maintain inventory records.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, schedule work assignments.
- Ensure product quality meets established standards and uphold food safety practices.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation.
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and client‑focused attitude.
- Excellent oral communication and teamwork.
Required skills
- Food safety and handling knowledge (Food Safety Certificate).
- Proficiency in preparing Canadian cuisine.
