About the role

Hirez Manpower Solutions Inc. is partnering with a network of Canadian hospitality employers to place qualified cooks in restaurants, hotels, resorts, cafés and catering operations. The role involves preparing high‑quality meals in fast‑paced kitchen environments while adhering to company standards and food‑safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes according to recipes and operational standards.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, garnishing and plating to ensure consistency.
• Maintain food quality, taste and presentation throughout service.
• Follow food‑safety, hygiene and kitchen sanitation requirements.
• Support inventory monitoring, ingredient preparation and proper food storage.
• Collaborate with chefs, kitchen staff and service teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a cook or in a related culinary role.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented attitude with good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to adapt to employer standards and operational needs.
