About the role
Techo-Bloc is expanding its sales team and seeks a Commercial Sales Representative to cover Montreal, the North Shore, and occasional travel to the Maritimes. Reporting to the regional sales manager, you will develop and manage relationships with industrial, commercial, and institutional landscaping clients across Quebec.
Key responsibilities
- Qualify leads generated by marketing, trade shows, face‑to‑face contacts and advertising.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial landscape contractor clients.
- Advise landscape architects, engineers and other professionals on product selection and provide technical support.
- Collaborate with the sales team to close commercial deals.
- Use project software to monitor upcoming opportunities and competitor activity.
- Host “lunch and learns” to increase brand awareness.
- Identify, maintain and close specification opportunities through the CRM pipeline.
- Prepare bids and follow up on projects throughout the sales cycle.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in administration or related field (relevant experience may be considered).
- Bilingual in English and French; English required for U.S. clients.
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience working with engineering and architectural firms, municipalities or real‑estate developers.
- Strong negotiation, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, organized and able to solve problems independently.
- Valid driver’s licence with an excellent driving record.
- Willingness to travel 40‑60 % of the time within the territory.
