About the role

We are seeking a Canada‑based Business Development Specialist to generate new revenue by connecting insurance companies, brokers, agencies, and lead buyers with our high‑intent consumer insurance leads and inbound call opportunities. You will research, outreach, and qualify prospects, then schedule meetings for our founder and sales team.

Key responsibilities

  • Build targeted prospect lists of Canadian insurance buyers across life, final expense, mortgage protection, home, auto, and financial services sectors.
  • Identify decision‑makers (founders, CEOs, growth managers, partnership managers, marketing directors, sales leaders) and obtain accurate contact information.
  • Conduct personalized cold‑email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and phone follow‑ups.
  • Book qualified meetings with interested companies and track all activity in a CRM or spreadsheet.
  • Report daily and weekly results and refine outreach scripts based on market feedback.

Required profile

  • Experience in B2B outbound sales, business development, lead generation, or appointment setting.
  • Strong written and spoken English with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, stay persistent, and manage a high volume of outreach without micromanagement.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian insurance market or a Canada‑based location.
