Business Development Manager – Construction & Real Estate

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth for a well‑established construction and real‑estate firm in the Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate will combine sales acumen with industry knowledge to build relationships, generate leads, and support long‑term business expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the construction and real‑estate sectors.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, developers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Attend networking events, industry functions, and client meetings to promote the company.
• Generate leads through outreach, market research, and relationship building.
• Support proposal preparation, presentations, and client communications.
• Collaborate with leadership to pinpoint growth opportunities and market trends.
• Manage client follow‑ups and ensure regular communication with prospects and partners.
• Represent the company professionally to expand brand presence.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, business development, construction, real‑estate, or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Comfortable making outbound calls, networking, and meeting clients face‑to‑face.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities.
