About the role
We are looking for a reliable Bakery Bench Hand to join our team at Cookies By George in Edmonton. This seasonal, part‑time position involves preparing doughs, batters and icings for a variety of baked goods, ensuring each product meets our quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods according to recipes or special orders.
- Mix and bake batters for muffins, cookies, cakes and frostings.
- Produce special orders and ensure product quality meets established standards.
- Handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods and work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Accurate and dependable with excellent oral and written communication.
- Strong judgement, reliability and ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Good colour discrimination, attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to cope with physically demanding, repetitive tasks and pressure.
