About the role
The Fort Pub & Grill in Edmonton is seeking a reliable dishwasher to keep the kitchen running smoothly. This position involves operating the dishwashing equipment, maintaining cleanliness of all kitchen areas, and supporting the food service team.
Key responsibilities
- Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware and flatware.
- Scour pots and pans and place cleaned items in the storage area.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars with supplies.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, appliances and equipment.
- Receive, unpack and store deliveries in refrigerators, freezers and cupboards.
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors and remove kitchen garbage.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience; prior dishwashing experience is an asset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and pay attention to detail.
- Team player with dependability and a positive attitude.
- Availability to work evenings, days and weekends as needed.
