Back Office Bank Reconciliations Associate – New Grads Welcome

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Back Office Reconciliations Associate to join our banking operations team in Toronto on a six‑month contract with the possibility of hire. The role focuses on reviewing internal service requests, investigating transaction discrepancies, and performing account reconciliations. It is a non‑customer‑facing position that works closely with branch and call‑centre teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and act on internal service requests submitted through a back‑office ticketing system.
• Investigate transaction‑related issues such as ATM or account discrepancies by analysing reports and account activity.
• Perform reconciliations to identify, validate, and resolve differences in account or transaction records.
• Accurately enter, update, and maintain information in internal systems following established procedures.
• Communicate with internal branch, call‑centre, and operations teams to gather details or clarify request information.
• Handle confidential banking information with discretion and prioritize multiple requests while meeting timelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a service, administrative, operations, or back‑office environment is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and data‑entry accuracy.
• Comfortable reading reports, reviewing information, and identifying inconsistencies.
• New graduates with strong analytical or customer‑service experience are encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Familiarity with internal ticketing systems for request management.
