About the role
The Consultant, Strategic Initiatives will join CIBC’s Compliance Strategy & Planning team, reporting to the Director. You will support the Compliance & Global Regulatory Affairs (CGRA) group in shaping and executing its strategic priorities, bridging business objectives with technology and vendor solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate discovery and ideation sessions to build the CGRA strategy roadmap.
- Assist in developing and executing a technology roadmap, including vendor strategy and platform evaluation.
- Support the delivery of key projects and strategic initiatives, tracking progress across the portfolio.
- Develop and implement vendor governance frameworks; manage vendor selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and contracts.
- Coordinate the annual fiscal planning process and align it with PMO and procurement templates.
- Create clear, concise executive decks that tell a compelling story.
Required profile
- Passionate about building relationships and working with diverse partners.
- Acts like an owner, taking initiative and delivering results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present to senior audiences.
