Associate Playbook Designer

About the role

Mattel’s Montreal Building Sets Campus is looking for an Associate Playbook Designer to create clear, engaging instruction booklets for its Brick Shop and Mega Bloks products. You will work closely with product design, marketing and brand teams to translate product intent and play patterns into intuitive visual guides.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop instruction booklets that communicate build steps, play patterns, and product intent.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to ensure a cohesive consumer play experience.
• Translate technical and product requirements into clear, visually engaging instructions.
• Prepare and present booklet assets for review and approval.
• Manage timelines and production milestones with accuracy and consistency.
• Stay current with new design technologies, trends, and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic, instructional or product design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to change.
