Product Designer & Developer

About the role

Globalla Inc. seeks a creative Designer & Product Developer with a strong sense of style, colour, and market trends. You will lead product design from concept to production across multiple accessory categories, ensuring relevance and innovation that meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Research market trends, fabrics, and techniques and present findings to design and sales teams.
• Analyze the competitive landscape and segment products for different market segments.
• Generate creative product design concepts and manage the development process.
• Create and communicate artwork files, lab dips, tech packs, and style sheets to factories.
• Review samples, provide timely feedback, and track sample progress.
• Meet all project deadlines as defined in the company calendar.
• Improve communication and processes with art, design, development teams, and factories.
• Present designs to customers alongside the sales team when required.
• Prepare product costings and support factory price negotiations using Excel.

Required profile

• Minimum college degree in Fashion Design or a recognized certificate in Quebec.
• At least 5 years of relevant design experience in accessories or apparel.
• Strong knowledge of yarns, fabrics, colour theory, graphics, and trims.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Effective collaboration and clear communication within cross‑functional teams.
