Associate Operational Excellence Director

About the role

The Associate Operational Excellence Director will sit at the heart of enterprise transformation, guiding large‑scale organizations in designing, implementing and continuously improving operational processes. Working in a highly regulated life‑sciences environment, you will partner with senior stakeholders to turn strategic priorities into actionable programs that boost efficiency, scalability and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide operational excellence initiatives and ensure consistent execution of transformation and process‑improvement strategies.
• Plan, execute and deliver cross‑functional programs from initiation to completion, defining scope, objectives, timelines and success metrics.
• Manage risks, dependencies and issues, applying structured escalation and mitigation approaches.
• Drive process optimisation and automation across business workflows.
• Lead change‑management efforts to secure adoption, sustainability and consistency of new processes.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor performance and support decision‑making.
• Partner with stakeholders to standardise best practices, align governance and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 12+ years of experience in operations, clinical research or process excellence.
• Strong background in CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or drug‑development environments.
• Deep knowledge of clinical operations and cross‑functional drug‑development processes.
• Proven track record in change management, process improvement and enterprise‑level program delivery.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Outstanding communication, stakeholder‑management and influencing skills with senior and cross‑functional teams.
