Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Outlet Manager in delivering exceptional dining experiences within a newly renovated luxury environment. This role blends guest service excellence with operational leadership, ensuring smooth service flow and high guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service in line with outlet policies and standards.
• Assist in leading the Food & Beverage team, maintaining service quality and handling guest concerns promptly.
• Balance operational, administrative, and colleague needs while attending departmental meetings.
• Drive revenue by collaborating with F&B teams on strategies, promotions, and initiatives.
• Support Voice of the Guest and Colleague Engagement Survey objectives.
• Supervise staff, ensure visual standards, and maintain ambiance, cleanliness, and décor.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop supervisors and team members.
• Manage performance, attendance, grooming, schedules, labor costs, and payroll.
• Maintain full knowledge of outlet menus and assist with budget management.
• Adhere to vehicle handling and safety policies when operating hotel or guest vehicles.
