Assistant Manager

About the role

EQ3 is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Brossard store at Quartier DIX30. This full‑time position supports the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional retail experience, developing the sales team, and driving business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with day‑to‑day store operations and lead the sales team when the manager is absent.
• Collaborate on budgeting and action‑plan development to meet financial targets.
• Coach and train staff on promotions, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
• Engage directly with customers to address their needs and ensure a positive store experience.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and an organized storefront.
• Handle back‑office tasks such as client database updates, bank deposits, daily balance reconciliation, and payroll assistance.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of retail experience (preferred) with a blend of education and experience considered.
• Post‑secondary education in Business Administration or a related field; coursework in sales or retail customer service is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
• Creative problem‑solving approach and high standards for customer service, accuracy, and sales goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with SharePoint.
• Knowledge of the STORIS retail system.
